1. About Vilija Skubute Photography

Vilija Skubute Photography provides portrait photography services, including luxury portrait experiences, personal branding photography, women’s portrait sessions, and related photography products.

This website provides information about my services, portfolio, offers, booking process and contact details.

I may update or change the content on this website at any time without notice.

2. Website use

You may use this website for personal, non-commercial purposes.

You agree not to:

copy, reproduce or steal website content
misuse the website
attempt to damage, hack or disrupt the website
use the website for unlawful purposes

I try to keep the website accurate and up to date, but I cannot guarantee that all information will always be complete, current or error-free.

Nothing on this website creates a binding contract unless confirmed in writing by Vilija Skubute Photography.

All copyright in photographs created by Vilija Skubute Photography remains with Vilija Skubute Photography, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Clients may receive permission to use purchased images for personal use, depending on the package purchased. Commercial use is not included unless agreed separately in writing.

Unauthorised use of images may result in legal action.

4. Enquiries and bookings

Submitting an enquiry does not guarantee availability or confirm a booking.

Your booking is only confirmed once:

a date has been agreed
the required booking fee/deposit has been paid
confirmation has been sent by Vilija Skubute Photography

The booking fee/deposit secures your chosen session date and time.

5. Booking fee/deposit

A booking fee/deposit is required to secure your photoshoot.

The amount may vary depending on the type of session or experience booked.

The booking fee/deposit is used to reserve your date, prepare for your session, and cover time and business costs connected with your booking.

The booking fee/deposit is usually non-refundable if you cancel with less than 48 hours’ notice, fail to attend, or do not reschedule in time.

Where possible, I may allow your booking fee/deposit to be transferred to another suitable date, subject to availability.

6. Rescheduling and cancellation

If you need to reschedule your photoshoot, please contact me as soon as possible.

More than 48 hours’ notice

If you give more than 48 hours’ notice, your booking fee/deposit may usually be transferred to another available session date.

Less than 48 hours’ notice

If you cancel or reschedule with less than 48 hours’ notice, your booking fee/deposit may be lost and a new booking fee may be required to book another date.

No-show

If you do not attend your session and do not contact me in advance, this will be treated as a cancellation and your booking fee/deposit will be non-refundable.

Illness or emergency

I understand that genuine emergencies happen. In cases of illness or emergency, I will do my best to work with you fairly, but rescheduling is subject to availability.

7. Payments

Payment details will be confirmed before booking.

The remaining session balance, where applicable, must be paid before or on the agreed payment date.

If payment is not received on time, Vilija Skubute Photography may pause or cancel the booking, order, product delivery or image release until payment is received.

Payments may be accepted by bank transfer, cash, invoice payment or other agreed methods.

8. Product purchases and reveal sessions

After your photoshoot, you may be invited to a reveal/viewing session to view your images and choose your image collection or products.

Image collections, prints, albums, wall art, digital files and other products are purchased separately unless included in your chosen package.

At the reveal session, payment is required for the products or image collection you choose.

Once images, digital files, prints, albums or custom products have been ordered, edited, designed or delivered, they are usually non-refundable because they are personalised/custom-made.

9. Monthly payment plans

Monthly payment plans may be available at the discretion of Vilija Skubute Photography.

If you choose a payment plan:

the first payment is due at the reveal/session ordering appointment
the remaining payments must be made as agreed
products, digital images or final orders may not be released until the payment plan is completed, unless agreed otherwise in writing
missed payments may delay delivery of images or product

Full payment plan details will be confirmed before you agree to proceed.

10. Session length and experience

Session length may vary depending on the type of photoshoot.

For portrait experiences that include hair and makeup, the full appointment may take approximately:

2 hours for hair and makeup
up to 2.5 hours for the photoshoot

Total time may be around 2 to 4.5 hours, depending on the session. Exact timings may vary session. to session.

11. Hair and Makeup

Where hair and makeup are included in your session, this will be explained before booking.

Please arrive on time for your appointment. Late arrival may reduce the time available for hair, makeup or photography.

If you have allergies, skin sensitivities, medical conditions or specific requirements, please tell me before your session.

12. Outfits and preparation

You will receive guidance before your session to help you prepare.

Clients are usually encouraged to bring 2 to 4 favourite outfits.

Depending on the session, I may also have styling pieces or outfits available to mix and match during the photoshoot.

13. Client behaviour and safety

I want every client to have a relaxed, enjoyable and respectful experience.

Vilija Skubute Photography reserves the right to stop or cancel a session if a client or guest behaves in a way that is abusive, unsafe, threatening, inappropriate or disrespectful. In this situation, no refund may be given.

14. Image editing and final style

Images are edited in the artistic style of Vilija Skubute Photography.

Editing may include colour correction, lighting adjustments, skin retouching and artistic finishing.

Raw or unedited files are not provided unless agreed separately in writing.

Final image selection, editing style and delivery format are at the discretion of Vilija Skubute Photography.

15. Image delivery

Delivery times vary depending on the session type, number of images, editing schedule, product orders and supplier timelines.

Estimated delivery times will be provided where possible, but they are not guaranteed unless confirmed in writing.

Vilija Skubute Photography is not responsible for delays caused by third-party suppliers, postal services, printing labs or circumstances outside my control.

16. Use of client images

Your photographs will not be used for marketing, advertising, social media, exhibitions or promotional purposes unless you have given appropriate permission, consent or signed a model release.

If you give permission, your images may be used in places such as:

website portfolio
social media
printed marketing materials
studio samples
online advertising
brochures or guides
exhibitions
competition or award submissions

The specific use of your images may be covered in a separate model release or image permission agreement.

17. Testimonials and reviews

If you provide a testimonial, review or feedback, I may ask for your permission to use it in my marketing.

Testimonials may be used on my website, social media, printed materials or adverts.

18. Surveys, competitions and promotions

From time to time, Vilija Skubute Photography may run surveys, competitions or promotions.
