What is 40 over 40 photography project?

Project started before pandemic where I photographed 40 women over the age of 40s, 50s, 60s, 70s +.

This project is not just about the images—it’s about the stories behind them because each portrait captures so much more than appearance. It holds a moment of truth, of reflection, of strength.

During these sessions, we’ve talked deeply. We’ve shared laughter, and we’ve wiped away tears. We've explored the defining moments—both joyful and painful—that shaped who you are today.

We’ve asked the big questions: What has life taught you? What have you overcome? What advice you would give 20 years younger self today if you would have a chance to meet her?

Come and witness it for yourself—join us at the 40 Over 40 Portrait Exhibition.
A powerful collection of portraits and stories that honour the resilience, beauty, and spirit of women over 40.

40 OVER 40 Volume 2
is open for bookings now!

What became clear is this: women need experiences like this—moments created just for them.

For some, the photoshoot was a powerful act of self-celebration. After years of giving everything to everyone else, this was their moment to finally focus on themselves—to feel seen, valued, and joyful.

Others came with stories of hardship and resilience. For them, this session marked a turning point—a way to honour a new chapter and celebrate how far they’ve come.

Some women were still on the journey of rediscovering who they are—seeking their voice, their confidence, their place in the world.

And for others, was a desire to celebrate life, a milestone, or a birthday.

There are countless reasons why women choose to step in front of the camera for a 40 Over 40 photoshoot.

Each one is valid. Each one is powerful. Each one deserves to be captured.
