What a lovely experience I had doing the 40 over 40 photoshoot! Vilija was really friendly and so was MUA Saira. I was nervous at the start of the shoot, but Vilija put me at ease and knows exactly what she is doing, to get the best shots. I was delighted with how my photos turned out and the prints are fantastic. I might go back for another shoot one day. Definitely recommend! ❤️

I wholly recommend you put yourself in Vilija's hands for a professional and enjoyable experience and pictures you will treasure, share and be proud of. I went into the shoot somewhat nervous but Vilija was so kind, supportive, efficient and focused that I soon relaxed and had a blast! 40 over 40! Fantastic experince definately worth doing. Vilija had everything covered. Make-up and hair by Saira was on point. The fabulous outfits and jewellery chosen by Vilija matched my personality. I had a photoshoot with Vilija which included the make up and dress up as a package just a few months ago. The experience was so good, Vilija puts you at ease and the process itself it was not stressfull at all. I felt as if I spent the day somewhere in another world, enjoying myself. The photos looked like out of this world! Trully you, but soo beautiful, one can never imagine. I would highly recommend Vilija for all women, especially if you are somehow anxious about going somewhere for a personal photoshoot, but really desire to have one.

 Why I am passionate about this project?

​

I am 39 and I love to look to the women a couple steps ahead of me in life who are absolutely rocking it. My mum, my sister, my family women and any women over 40+. You inspire me. Your story inspires me. You show us the truth - that a woman just gets better with time, like a fine wine -  and not opposite, as we have been told in the society. 

 I am a huge believer in women's empowerment. And, I know that if I am inspired by women of all ages, others will be as well. But there aren't many platforms for women over 40 to share their story and their beauty. That's why I created this project. I am intend to disrupt & transform the way we are viewed (or forgotten) by the media and society by putting out beautiful, images and real stories of ourselves.

WHO can take part in this portrait experience ?

​

All women 39+ and up are invited. I have photographed stunning women of different shapes and sizes; from different backgrounds and with different views of life.

This is an exciting, pampering, indulgent adventure, custom tailored and focused on YOU!

How you want to be captured, what does your legacy and memories look like?

My passion is to take images for any woman, no matter her shape, age, background and give her an unforgettable photoshoot experience.
